Peter Dinklage voices Dr. Dillamond the Goat

Universal Pictures' Wicked Found its goat. Peter Dinklage is set to voice Dr. Dillamond in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical.

The news was announced Wednesday afternoon in Las Vegas, as Universal closed out its CinemaCon presentation by sharing new footage. Wicked, which hits theaters on Thanksgiving this year. Universal and director John M. Chu has made the film in two parts, with the second part slated to open during the final holidays of 2025.

Wicked – The Untold Story of The Wizards of Oz – Cynthia Erivo plays Elbaba, a young woman who is misunderstood because of her unusual green skin and has yet to discover her true powers. Ariana Grande stars as Glinda, a popular young woman adorned with privilege and ambition, but who has yet to find her true heart. After meeting as young women, their extraordinary adventures eventually see them fulfill their destinies as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

In the film adaptation, Dr. Tillamand, a goat, is a history professor at the University of Shiz who warns Elbaba of the dark forces that threaten the talking animals of Oz.
