Kelly Clarkson helps gay couple marry on New Year's Eve show: WATCH

Some people wait their entire lives for a moment like this! During her New Year's Eve show Chemistry: An Intimate Evening on Sunday, Kelly Clarkson witnessed and helped a couple tie the knot in a sweet moment.

„We've been together 14 years, 15 in January,” Ryan told Clarkson, adding that he and Clarkson hoped they would get married. The singer raised her mic and looked on with an ear-to-ear grin.

„Wait, say something!” Clarkson told one of the couple's friends, who was officiating, as they began to share their wedding vows. Jodi, Ryan and Marcelo, each declared „I do” and „absolutely,” before sharing a smooch and posing for a selfie with the „Stronger” singer as the Pact Theater audience cheered.

„You guys, that was amazing,” Clarkson said. „Well, Marcelo and Ryan, good luck!”

Sunday's show was part of his four-show Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood. The Grammy winner will next play two shows during Super Bowl weekend in February.

Clarkson first wrapped up her 10-date residency on August 19, where she performed songs and tracks from her new LP. ChemistryWith Kelly's renditions of her favorite songs, including Billie Eilish's „Happier Than Ever” and Harry Styles' „As It Was.”

The shows in Vegas celebrate the singer's latest album of the same name, which features songs like „Mine,” „Me,” and „Favorite Kind of High.” „I only got to do 10 shows, so that's why it's so special,” Clarkson said when she first announced the residency. „I haven't added yet, I'll tell you now. Mother needs a little, a minute's rest.”

During one of the singer's residency shows in August, her two children joined her on stage for a special moment.

„Both of my kids are backstage getting ready to join me on stage in Vegas, these two little men will always have my whole heart,” Clarkson shared a photo of her son Remington Alexander on Instagram. and daughter River Rose prepare for their big moment.
