London based fashion brand Wax London released its highly coveted AW23 collection. The “Driving Home for Christmas” collection focuses on outerwear – winter wear – with a rich color palette and its new quilted overshirt. Aiming to mix everyday wear with the charm of country weekend getaways, Wax London features a diverse design palette in its AW23 collection, with sustainability and a clear “Driving Home for Christmas:” collection.
Wax London was born in 2015 when three friends, Rich Singh, Tom Holmes and Steffi Neseva, shared their frustration about their inability to dress well with some sense of affordability. Having struck up a friendship in London, the trio decided to create their own brand, despite having different backgrounds. The brand initially operated out of Rich's home for two years, before eventually establishing a Wax London studio and showroom in Camden Town, taking advantage of any available space for design and stock.
The AW23 collection introduces 100 designs in autumnal tones like browns, greens, blues and burgundy. Its signature pieces include the wax whiting overshirt, the sold-out Chester coat, the Navarino trench coat and three new coat silhouettes in a variety of colors. The collection also features a variety of waist-length jackets, including the new Otto Overshirt and the return of the Iggy Jacket in jacquard and wool for colder days.
Tailoring options have expanded to meet the needs of customers, offering seasonal lime stripes and blue corduroy dresses for a relaxed aesthetic. Trouser options include kurt trousers in a new camel color and corduroy fabrics, showcasing Vox London's commitment to versatile and stylish designs.
„What really excites me about this collection is how we've explored familiar silhouettes in fabrics we've never worked with before. It's always exciting to see clothes come to life in new ways,” says Tom Holmes. , Wax Co-Founder and Managing Director.
