Stark Future took first win in British Arenacross Championship

Electric motorcycles are taking the world by storm in both mobility and motorsports. The Moto-E World Championship has proven the capabilities of electric superbikes on the world stage, meanwhile, in the off-road arena, electric dirtbikes have also demonstrated their impressive performance.

A good example of this comes from the folks at Stark Future, whose Stark Work electric motocross bike has been performing well so far in the 2023 to 2024 British Arenacross Championship. Racing action takes place in September 2023 at Polesworth, Chester and Round 2 on January 6, 2024 at Manchester's AO Arena. This marked the debut of the Stark Future Racing team. In fact, it was a very impressive debut as the Stark Future Racing Team took their first Arenacross win of 2024 driving the Jack Brunel Electric Dirtbike, competing against some of the strongest ICE machines out there.

Justin Bogle also made his debut in the second round of the British Arenacross Championship. Despite a slow start to the race, Bogle put in an impressive performance to finish sixth. Meanwhile, it was a challenging race for Eddie Wade, who went head-to-head with Ben Clayton. He finished 13th, but managed to gain a spot thanks to a last-chance qualifier.

After all is said and done, Jacques Brunel's performance steals the show. According to the Stark Future Racing Team's official press release, Brunel is in the best form of his career and has just taken his first Arenacross main event victory. Brunelle managed to finish in the top 5, despite having difficulties in the first hard sprint. Also, he took the win in the pro heat stage and the final pro event.

In Stark Future Racing's official press release, Jack Brunell expressed his excitement about his and the team's success, saying, „All I asked was, are you sure you want to ride an electric bike? Now I've shown you all what it can do. All I wanted to do was win. That's why I wake up every morning at 6 a.m. Getting up and going to practice before work, that's why I put in laps, that's why I got an opportunity with the Stark Future Racing Team, feeling bloody good on the bike because I can't wait to keep pushing.

Following a successful debut on the racing scene, it's clear that Stark's future is on the right track. According to the race team, its next steps include further testing and training of the Starkwork electric motorcycle. All of these will be put to the test at the SSE Arena in Belfast for rounds 3 and 4 scheduled for January 19 and 20, 2024.

Commenting on the impressive debut of the Stark Future Racing team, the company's Racing Director Sebastian Tortelli explained, “We are very pleased. Overall, the team did well. It was the first time we raced Arenacross in the UK, so it was new for us and we had to adapt and make sure we were ready, but in the end, everything was fine. The setup of the Arenacross event was amazing. It was a great show… looking forward to the next one in Belfast in a couple of weeks. It's a two-night event, so we'll be looking to get our guys on stage the most!
