In a remote valley, a drone spotted a group of miners stranded on a cliff when an earthquake triggered landslides that destroyed all roads.

CBS News partner network BBC News was in the epicenter of the quake zone, where local residents told reporter Rupert Wingfield-Hayes they were worried that an aftershock could completely topple a building tilted at about a 45-degree angle by the quake.

Even as rescuers carefully searched the building for any survivors, workers were busy trying to stabilize the site.
