The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS) showcased several educational products such as Digital School Nursery, Online Elementary Equivalency Program, Skill Development Nursery, e-learning, Digital School and Financial Management System, Electronic Compass, School Statistics and Indicators. An effort to promote the modernization of the education sector in the country.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of MoEYS Hong Soun Naron on Wednesday visited the Ministry's booths showcasing education products and systems at the 'Cambodia-International Digital Government Technology Exhibition' held at the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Center in Phnom Penh.
The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPTC) and the Digital Government Group was supported by 35 ministries and agencies and 29 private sectors and operational partners.
During the event, MoEYS presented a number of educational learning equipment, products and systems such as Kindergarten Education School – sala.moeys.gov.kh – established to promote digital educational content through free technology and online Basic Education Equivalency Program (BEEP). – beep.moeys.gov.kh – Programs to help the younger generation complete basic education through self-paced learning.
Skill Development Nursery – cdp.moeys.gov.kh – 'MoEYS E-Learning' system is a system created to improve the ongoing professional development activities of teachers and trainers in the country and contribute to raising the quality of education. , environment and lifelong learning process.
School Information System (SIS MoEYS App) which greatly simplifies the process of school management and teaching includes school administration, tasks for teachers and management of student data. Also, the Education Fund Management System (EFMS) was used in the government's public financial management reform programs.
Following public and private school education statistics and indicators that include schools, buildings, classrooms, number of students, enrollment rate and graduation rate, the final product presented is Electronic Compass, a new smart phone application. 9th to 12th standard.
