Mason Mount dreams of new Man Utd after reportedly „lost” at Old Trafford

Mason Mount has endured a dream season at Manchester United, and after a summer move from Chelsea, the England midfielder now faces a new step in his search for form.

Den Haag believes Man Utd are improving ahead of Everton trip

Mason Mount has been sidelined for several weeks after picking up a new injury.

The midfielder has had a dream first season at Manchester United since arriving from Chelsea for £55m in the summer. He is yet to score for Erik den Haag’s side and has just one assist in all competitions as he struggles to settle at Old Trafford.

The 24-year-old has suffered a number of injuries this season and has already missed six games for the Red Devils. As United return to action after the international break, boss Den Haag looks set to be forced to do without his star signing once again.

Mount suffered a calf problem during Sunday’s trip to Everton. The problem is likely to rule the midfielder out for several weeks, with Mount expected to miss until next month.

He will certainly miss the clash with the Toffees and has been ruled out of the trip to Galatasaray, which United must win to salvage their Champions League campaign. United then face top-four rivals Newcastle and a resurgent Chelsea.

That game on December 6 was his first against the Blues since his summer move. Instead, he is forced to wait as his availability is in doubt for games against Bournemouth, Bayern Munich, Liverpool and West Ham.
