Subscribe to ESPN+ on the ESPN app, ESPN.com and connected TV devicesClifton, New Jersey, May 8, 2024 – ESPN+ will stream the LPGA Tour’s Cognizant Founders Cup live with a special teams feed tomorrow, Thursday, May 9, at 7:55 a.m. ET from Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton. New Jersey.

  • Special teams on ESPN+ will feature five of the world’s top 10 players and five major champions, including world No. 1 Nellie Korda, as she seeks a sixth consecutive LPGA Tour victory. Streaming over 40 hours of coverage across all four. On match days, ESPN+ will offer two special teams from the morning and afternoon waves each day.

The all-female primary commentary team will be led by Amy Rogers, who will host special teams coverage on ESPN+ alongside analyst Amanda Blumenhurst, as well as on-course reports and live player interviews from Chantal McCabe and Hope Barnett.

  • No puttingIn Cody McBride and Bill „Big Randy” Landes will provide their new „fan” take and insights throughout the event coverage.

The Cognizant Founders Cup honors the LPGA Tour’s 13 founding members.

LPGA Tour on ESPN+
The Cognizant Founders Cup is part of a two-year deal on ESPN+ declared Beginning in November 2023, ESPN+ will offer live exclusive group coverage of eight LPGA Tour tournaments during the 2025 season. The Cognizant Founders Cup is the second of four LPGA Tour events on ESPN+ this season, following the 2024 Chevron Championship.

This latest agreement continues the longstanding relationship between the LPGA Tour and ESPN.

  • In 2022, ESPN+ streamed the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G and the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G.
  • ESPN broadcast a regular schedule of LPGA Tour events from 1979-2009, and ABC covered the CME Group Tour Championship from 2015-2018.
  • ESPN broadcast the first two rounds of the AIG British Open from 1982-2002, four rounds from 2010-2015, and the first two rounds of the US Women’s Open from 1982-2014.
  • The first golf event televised on ESPN was the LPGA Sahara Open on September 8, 1979, the second day of ESPN.

The remaining LPGA Tour events on ESPN+ this season will be announced later this year.
