Toss Royal Challengers Bangalore Vs chose to bowl Mumbai Indians

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Smriti Mandana won the toss and opted to bowl against Mumbai Indians, going unconventional in the Delhi-leg of WPL 2024. If RCB wins their last group stage match, they will qualify for the playoffs. Lose, and it comes down to net run rate in a three-way race with Gujarat Giants and UP Warriors.

Both the teams are playing on the back of contrasting results. Harmanpreet's stunning attack helped Mumbai to victory against Giants on Saturday, while RCB lost by a solitary run against Delhi Capitals on Sunday.

„It's a new wicket. It will be good to know the total,” Mandana said of his bowling decision. RCB are hoping for no changes in the same team that lost to the Capitals.

Harmanpreet said he wanted to bat anyway as he had to chase in the last few games. Mumbai had to make a forced change as Yastika Bhatia fell ill. He was replaced by Bengal wicketkeeper-batsman Priyanka Bala, who made her WPL debut. Bala was given his cap by Bengal teammate Saika Ishaq.

Mumbai have already booked a spot in the playoffs with the Capitals. A win here would take them to the top of the table but the Capitals have a game in hand.
