John Terry congratulated Chelsea youngster Leo Castledine on his debut during the Blues' 6-1 win over Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
Made his first appearance for the club aged 18, replacing midfielder Raheem Sterling in the 85th minute.
The Blues completed a sensational turnaround after being beaten 1-0 by Middlesbrough in the previous leg.
Enzo Fernandez, Cole Palmer, Axel Tsasi and Noni Maduke got on the scoresheet to help Chelsea book their place in the League Cup final.
Castledin has been an unused substitute in many of Chelsea's Premier League games this season, but has been a key face in the Premier League 2 side this season.

After spending the early parts of his career with AFC Wimbledon, he will arrive at Chelsea in 2020 and progress through their youth academy system.
Terry, who has been working in an academy advisers role at the club since last summer, took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise Castledine.
He wrote: 'Congratulations Leo loves him and so do the Chelsea fans, he's a magnet in the box.'
Earlier this week, Terry was presented with the Player's Career Award at the Globe Soccer Awards.
Castledin has made 36 appearances for Chelsea U21s, returning eight goals and seven assists in all competitions.
He has represented England up to U19 level, previously winning three caps and scoring one goal for the Three Lions.
Leo is the son of former AFC Wimbledon midfielder Stewart Castledine, who was on the books at the south London club from 1991 to 2000.

Her mother is former Homes Under the Hammer presenter Lucy Alexander, her sister Kitty is an actress and currently plays Benny Branning in EastEnders.
Leo, meanwhile, arrived at Chelsea after starting his career with AFC Wimbledon and has won three England caps.
But the 18-year-old is the son of former AFC Wimbledon midfielder Stewart Castledine and football runs through his veins.
Stewart began her career at Wimbledon in 1991.
The 51-year-old graduated to the first team and scored four goals in 26 Premier League appearances for the south London outfit.
Leo's mum is TV presenter Lucy Alexander, 53, who previously hosted Homes Under the Hammer.
She also has an older sister, Kitty, 21, who currently stars as Benny Branning in EastEnders and debuted on the show on New Year's Eve.
