He received his PhD from the University of Groningen (RUG), where he studied under the supervision of Feringa. Ben L. He continued postgraduate research at RUG and ECUST under the supervision of Feringa and Dahui Gui. Deng’s research interests include supramolecular reversible cross-linking to promote the development of sustainable materials.
Dachuan Zhang A postdoctoral researcher working in food informatics and machine learning. Zhang holds a PhD in computational biology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). His research interests primarily focus on developing data-driven models and databases designed to more clearly explain the chemical complexity of our food. He is interested in exploring new and practical approaches to advance better food security outcomes, implement sustainable food systems, and strengthen the science-policy interface in food and agriculture. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles in reputed journals including ACS catalysis, ACS Synthetic Biology, ACS Standard Chemistry & Engineering, BioinformaticsAnd Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry and served as an early career editorial board member for four international journals.—
