PHNOM PENH, March 12 (Xinhua) — A number of Chinese technology companies showcased their latest products on Monday, wowing tech enthusiasts at the Digital Technology Expo in Cambodia's capital, Phnom Penh.

Sien Soklida, Marketing Director of Huawei in Cambodia, said that various latest products of Huawei such as tablets and laptops were showcased at the expo.

„The latest in the global market, Huawei has brought new technology to the expo, such as our new tablet,” he told Xinhua. „We demonstrate that the keyboards of the MateBook series or Huawei laptops are water-resistant.”

The Huawei brand is very popular in Cambodia, Soklida said, thanks to its high-quality products with very competitive prices.

„The Huawei brand has always focused on quality, and most consumers trust our products because we offer consistent warranty and we have service centers,” he said.

He said the expo provided a great opportunity for Huawei to introduce its latest products to all tech lovers.

Chon Karona, a second-year IT student at Norton University in Phnom Penh, said the exhibition gave him a great opportunity to gain insights into the latest developments in digital technology in the world.

„For technical equipment and devices made by Chinese companies, I am interested in laptop computers, which are thinner and smarter than before,” he told Xinhua while visiting the expo.

„Those laptops are Huawei products. For me, I think Huawei products are improved every year,” said the 19-year-old student.
