Netflix’s One Piece live-action series gives a flag to the Straw Hats

Luffy and the Straw Hats is almost on Netflix. The live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s manga hits the streaming service on August 31, and Netflix has released its longest trailer yet to give fans a new preview of the show. Netflix released the latest version A piece Friday’s trailer is in celebration of One Piece Day, which falls annually on July 22.



The trailer shows a little more about the crew’s journey than we’ve seen before, including a look at the Straw Hats’ ship and flag. We also get some glimpses of the villains they’ll encounter this season, including Buggy the Star Clown.

Oda also made it clear how excited he is that the series is finally out for the public to see after seven years of work.

„I love the production team so much right now, and I can’t wait to see them get the appreciation they deserve from everyone around the world,” said Oda.
