Gary Schreiner will return for a second F1 Academy season as the driver for Campos Racing has been announced as part of the Sauber Academy for the upcoming campaign.
The 25-year-old scored 11 points last year, including a maiden victory at Zandvoort in Race 2.

„I am proud to represent this team and the Saber Academy at the F1 Academy this year,” said Schreiner. “After a busy first season, I'm looking forward to getting back to work. Sauber has an impressive motorsport history and I want to play my part in continuing its success story at the F1 Academy.
„My goal for this season is the same: to win and fly the flag for the team, to raise more awareness for women in motorsport. The F1 Academy is a great platform to realize my ambitions and I am very motivated to achieve new milestones with our team and Campos Racing.
Beginning her racing career in 2011, she became the first and so far only female driver to claim the X30 Junior Championship title at the 2012 ADAC Kart Masters. After graduating to single-seaters in 2015, he moved to GT Racing two years later.
In 2018, he took titles in both the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East Pro-Am class and the DMV Gran Turismo Touring Car Cup – Class 1. He won the 2021 ADAC 24 Hours of Nürburgring when he finished fifth in the SP8 class. Italian GT Championship GT3 Pro-Am class in sprint stages.

Welcoming Schreiner joining the team, Sauber Academy Director Beat Zehnder said they look forward to building a new partnership and utilizing his wealth of experience.
