Among the most prestigious sporting events worldwide this year is the quadrennial UEFA European Championship (aka the 2024 Euro Cup or Euro 24). Fox Sports announced in November 2021 A six-year contract With the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the governing body of the Euro Cup. Under the deal, Fox Sports will televise 1,500 soccer matches, including the 2024- and 2028-Euro Cups. GlobalData estimates the deal is worth $270 million. France will host the first men’s football match of the 2024 Summer Olympics on July 24, ten days after the finals for the Euro Cup and Copa America and two days before the opening ceremonies.
