’The Man With 1000 Children’ has been knocked off Netflix’s top 10 list by a new show

I can’t say that I would have predicted that the documentary „The Man With 1000 Kids” would be number one. Netflix Top 10 List Almost two weeks, but that’s what happened. That was just dethroned by a new series called Receiver, a documentary about receivers in the NFL.

The Man With 1000 Kids is a very different documentary title, about a „fertile sperm door” who lied about how many times he had donated sperm under Dutch guidelines, which allow 25 children with a total of 12 mothers. Instead, his lies made it so that he had 1000 children around the world, although he claimed on his YouTube channel that it was more like 550. OK OK, I guess that’s okay (that’s okay).

The title seems to have caught on with audiences, and its performance is impressive given that it’s only three, 40-minute episodes, which means it’s going to be extra tough to top the list since it’s split into a two-hour movie. Three parts.

As for Receiver, it’s a sibling series to Quarterback, part of Netflix’s current sports documentary series popularized by F1: Drive to Survive. The quarterback performed well and returns for Season 2. The receiver also works well, clearly. The eight episodes follow five different receivers as opposed to three quarterbacks, including Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, Tebow Samuel and Amon-Ra St. Brown. If it does well, it will no doubt return for a second season.

The rest of the list has a lot of new entries and, as always, very few scripted original shows. Hannah Berner’s We Right at Dawn Comedy Special is already at #2. New season #4 of Vikings Valhalla, I expect it to soar. Despite being #2 for the longest time, Supacell is down to #5 after not reaching #1. We still have no word on a possible season 2, which is needed given the cliffhanger that ended.

The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders are still hanging on at #7. The new Desperate Lies and its 17 episodes debut at #8. One of last month’s most obscure success stories, Your Honor is still on the top 10 list at #9. The show did so unreasonably well that Showtime considered bringing it back from the dead for a third season.

We’ll see how long the receivers stay up, but it could be a little while.
