President Bola Tinubu on Friday in Abuja assured Nigerians that no stone will be left unturned in his administration’s multifaceted efforts to stimulate the economy and work for the betterment of all Nigerians.
The President made this known in a meeting with the Board of Trustees of the All Progressives Congress Trade Union Council led by the former Governor of Bauchi Province, Isa Yuguda, at the palace.
“This economy needs to be restored for the better and the greater number of Nigerians and we are seriously committed to seeing a better transformation,” he said.
President Tinubu said that every initiative across the sectors will be documented and periodically reviewed for performance verification and public presentation to consistently ensure measurable development and improved public awareness of policy outcomes.
„So far, we have taken some baby steps and pushed some aggressive positions,” the president told APC experts who had earlier pledged their support for the reforms.
While thanking President Tinubu for his bold interventions in the economy, the former Bauchi state governor said that since 2018, over two million people have been registered as professionals in different sectors and ready to provide structures for mobilization and sensitization of government policies.
„Foreign capital is a coward who does not go to unsafe areas, so with your successful interventions so far, we look forward to better security that will attract investors,” Yukuda said.
