The BMW X2 was the car that first introduced the concept of a sports SUV in the premium compact segment. Now the second generation, even more distinctive and sporty, enters the scene. Noticeably larger dimensions and a marked coupé body silhouette clearly show the leap in development the new BMW X2 has taken in its exterior design. At the same time, the German brand is introducing an electric version of the X2, along with numerous systems that allow for automated driving and parking, as well as innovative digital services.
Prices for the new BMW car are 45,800 euros for the sDrive 18d model with a 150-horsepower turbodiesel engine with front-wheel drive (49,400 euros for the 163-horsepower engine and all-wheel drive). Electric versions of the new BMW X2 with 204 or 313 horsepower cost 50,700 and 58,200 euros, respectively.
New BMW meters. Additionally, its long wheelbase and wide tracks maximize space for both five seats and a trunk that reaches up to 560 liters of capacity. On the exterior, the front stands out with striking LED headlights and elements like the almost hexagonal BMW grille, which, for the first time in the premium compact segment, can be optionally fitted with all-round lighting. The interior of the new BMW X2 offers a luxurious atmosphere with sporty touches. The instrument panel, which features a curved infotainment screen, is integrated into the armrest with an integrated control panel. At the front of the center console are two cup holders and a tray with wireless mobile phone charging. Optionally, spectacular sports seats can be fitted, electrically adjustable with memory function, lumbar support and massage function. Standard equipment now includes an airbag between the driver and front passenger seats.
Dual-zone automatic climate control, a navigation system and a leather sports steering wheel are standard on the new BMW X2, as are an automatic tailgate function, four USB-C ports and a 12-volt power outlet. trunk in and out of the center console. The chassis of the German brand's new compact SUV allows for an excellent balance between sporty and agile driving on the one hand, and long-distance comfort on the other. The new bodywork reduces weight while increasing stiffness, and features a longer wheelbase, a wider track than the predecessor model and specific improvements to the front axle and three-link rear axle. The new BMW X2 features a wheel slip limiter as standard, which improves both traction and directional stability. Other new features are an integrated braking system and additional damping on the front axle. Adaptive „M” sports suspension (optional) includes frequency-selective damping, sports steering and lowering the ride height by 15 millimeters when performance is fully utilized for high-speed driving.
The BMW iX2 xDrive30 electric version comes standard with 17-inch light alloy wheels; Petrol X2 sDrive20i and turbodiesel X2 sDrive20d models leave the factory with 18-inch light alloy wheels, while petrol standard equipment includes the latest version of the forward collision warning system, cruise control with braking function, speed limit information and lane departure warning with lane return. A reversing camera and parking assistant with reversing assistant are part of the standard equipment. Optional equipment includes a large number of driver assistance systems, steering and lane control assistant, active cruise control with stop & go function, active navigation, lane departure warning and head-up display.

The four-cylinder turbodiesel engine of the new X2 sDrive20d, with a displacement of 2 liters, 150 horsepower and an average consumption of 5.6 liters, has undergone an extensive update. All combustion engines for the new BMW X2 come standard with a seven-speed, dual-clutch Steptronic automatic transmission.
