Taylor Swift filled her wardrobe with a £58 dress from a Scottish fashion house, leaving the owner „copsmacked”.
Swift wore an olive-green mini dress while out for dinner with actors Blake Lively and Zoe Kravitz at Pizzeria Lucali in Brooklyn, New York.
Jade Robertson, a Scottish fashion designer and co-founder of Perth-based Little Lies, told The Times: „[I was] At first I was absolutely furious.
„We didn't even know she had the dress on,” he added.
“I woke up to WhatsApps from one of our design team. Her brother is a mega-Swifty, and she immediately spotted the dress on a 6am Twitter scroll this morning: Oh my god.
„He sent it to his sister, who sent it to me … so we found out.”

The Little Lies staff found the order, but it wasn't in Swift's name. They believe it was most likely done secretly by the singer himself or a member of his band.
Robertson said production of the dress would be limited to „a few hundred” and that the price would be „right”.
He's not a huge fan of Swift, but told the Times that he „absolutely appreciates” her music. “I'm a 70s classic rock girl. „Little Lies is obviously a Fleetwood Mac song,” he said. „My aunt was in a band in the '70s, and I grew up hearing stories about being at parties with Led Zeppelin and the Beatles.”
„I love her music, too, but what I love most is that she wore it in a Stevie Nicks way,” added Robertson.
Despite her multi-million dollar fortune, Swift has been known to rock wallet-friendly items in the past. Last week, the New York Times came under fire after publishing a piece speculating about Swift's sexuality. Speaking to CNN on condition of anonymity, a member of Swift's team attributed the decision to the release to gender discrimination and ethical lapses.
„Because of his enormous success, there's a Taylor-shaped hole in people's ethics at the moment,” the person said. „This article is not allowed to be written about Shawn Mendes or any male artist whose gender has been questioned by fans.”
Swift is set to perform three nights in Edinburgh this June as part of her Eras tour. This will be his first concert performance in the UK as part of the tour. He has 10 scheduled tour dates in the UK this year and will perform in Liverpool, Cardiff and London.
Swift peaked at number two and number three in the UK Albums Chart of 2023, although neither album was released last year.
