Northfield, St. Peter, Minn. – No. 12 Gustavus men's tennis played two matches on Saturday with a pair of emphatic wins. The Gusties opened the day on the road, defeating St. Olaf 9-0 before returning home to beat Luther 8-1 to improve to 7-3 overall and 3-0 in the MIAC.
Against St. Olaf, the Gusties opened the tournament with a sweep at doubles, winning 8-0 at No. 3 and Oscar Wilkstrom. Geoffrey Youngs. Five of the six singles matches were won in straight sets. 6-1, 3-6, 10-8 ranked young players battled for a three-set win.
