Slipknot’s Sid Wilson said he was in hospital with „severe burns” after a fire „exploded” at his farm.
Heavy metal musician – with whom she is in a relationship Kelly Osbourne – He said „OK” in a video posted on Instagram from his hospital bed.
„I had an eruption on my face,” he said. „I’m fine, I’ll be fine. But I had some serious burns on my face and hands.”
Wilson, who also goes by DJ Starscream, said a chest X-ray was being taken to ensure he had not inhaled the flames from the fire.
Showing off his singed eyebrows, mustache and blistered mouth and hands, he said he planned to appear at Slipknot’s show at the Rocklahoma Festival in Oklahoma next weekend.
„I’m going to be fine guys, I don’t care what happens, I’ll see you on the trip,” he said.
Wilson said in a second video that he was being transferred to a special facility. He later told fans that he was „in good hands” and „nice act.”
He also explained that he had been burned by the remains of a fire on his farm the previous night.
Osbourne, daughter of TV star Sharon and Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne, said in a separate Instagram post: „This is why you don’t suffer from burns.
„He literally set himself on fire and blew everything up.”

Slipknot said in a statement: „Our brother Sid Wilson was involved in an accident today and suffered burns all over his body.
„He is recovering with his family and will join us on stage in Rocklahoma next weekend.
„He thanks everyone for the good wishes and will see you all soon.”
