Icons only: Known for her elaborately embellished designs inspired by the Dior haute couture archive, Kim Jones wants men to know she exudes quiet luxury.
In his denim capsule collection, the label’s artistic director of menswear introduces a collection of timeless wardrobe essentials known as Dior Icons. Tailored coats, cashmere sweaters and minimalist wide-leg pants mix with casual pieces like a leather bomber jacket and jeans.
The line launches December 1st in Dior boutiques alongside an advertising campaign starring brand ambassador Robert Pattinson.
„I talked a lot about the clothes and the fiction with Robert, because he has a lot of interest in fashion. I thought it was perfect for him to wear Dior icons, because we discussed that in the concept of the collection. He is a good friend of mine, so it seemed like it would be good for him to model in it, Jones said in a statement.

Pattinson has been the face of Dior Homme fragrances since 2013. The „Twilight” actor has also appeared in a series of menswear campaigns for the French fashion brand, starting with Karl Lagerfeld’s Fall 2016 ads.
Pattinson starred opposite Gwendoline Christie in the film, which premiered during the Fall 2023 men’s show and has attended Dior shows over the years.
Along with wardrobe staples in muted hues including gray, founder Christian Dior’s favorite gray, the Dior Icons collection includes accessories such as the Dior Gallop shoulder bag available in a mini version with an aluminum buckle and the Dior Buffalo Derby shoes.
Dior has introduced several variations on the wardrobe essential concept in recent years. In 2020, it launched the Modern Tailoring capsule, and before that, the Dior Essentials line. All featured a range of elegant and casual pieces designed to stand the test of time.
