The EU call will co-fund doctoral and postgraduate fellowships

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions funding program of the European Union, which funds researchers at all career levels through various instruments, has opened a €96.6 million call for co-funding of doctoral and post-graduate scholarships.

Companies from an EU member state of which MSCA is part or a country associated with the consortium’s Horizon Europe research and innovation program can apply until February 8 next year. Organizations in other locations may join projects as associated partners.

Doctoral and postgraduate researchers at universities and research institutes can access support.

The program „offers a unique opportunity for institutions to attract talent through their own doctoral and postgraduate fellowship programmes,” the European Commission said.

It aims to spread „best practices by promoting high standards and better working and employment conditions”.

Bids for any field of research will be considered, but projects that benefit from funding with EU cohesion policy funds and the Covid-19 recovery fund are strongly encouraged.
