Mark Wood, expensive in Barbados, kept his place in the fast seam attack alongside Jofra Archer, a double chance that Oman’s batsmen did not relish.

Oman’s own promotion hopes are over after three defeats from three, including a seven-wicket loss against Scotland at the same venue on Sunday. Kashyap Prajapati returns in place of Naseem Khushi and Fayaz Bhatt and Shoaib Khan replace Rafiullah and Shakeel Ahmed.
