Lewis Hamilton 'really excited’ by Kimi Antonelli’s progress as he encourages youngsters to 'have fun’ during FP1 debut

For now Antonelli’s focus will be on his first practice outing at Monza. Asked if it would be beneficial to have a new player behind the wheel of the W15 to bring fresh ideas to the team, Hamilton replied: „We’ll find out tomorrow. It’s definitely always good to have more input.

„Tomorrow for Kimi it’s about enjoying yourself and having fun. It’s going to be an amazing experience for him. He’s already tested the old car, but I’m sure he’ll test the new car for the first time tomorrow, which is much nicer than the 2022 car.

„He’s going to laugh tomorrow, of course. It’s a drastic difference! The more information and the more input we get the better. I don’t know what to expect. [with] Whatever he’s going to bring, we’ll definitely take it.
