Gary Neville sends dire Man City warning to Arsenal and Tottenham after Man United win

Gary Neville has issued a warning to Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur after Manchester City thrashed rivals Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola’s men were back to their best on Sunday afternoon with an emphatic performance. Erling Holland’s double and a Phil Foden goal moved City to third in the Premier League table – two points behind Tottenham.

The Citizens have won three straight games in all competitions since losing 1-0 at the Emirates before the international break. After Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest, just three points separate first and fourth place.

Arsenal extended their unbeaten start to the league this season with a 5-0 thrashing of Sheffield United on Saturday, while Tottenham made it eight wins in ten games after a 2-1 win at Crystal Palace on Friday night.

The title race is starting to take shape, with Neville predicting the Gunners will win the league, sending a timely reminder to Mikel Arteta and Ange Postecoglou’s men. Speaking during the clash at Old Trafford, he said: „City needed it, they haven’t been at their best for the last few weeks and something like this will spur them back on.

„Danger for Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool and the teams who are fighting them at the top.”
