Toss: Afghanistan Opt for bowling vs Sri Lanka
Afghanistan have won the toss and elected to bowl in the second T20I against Sri Lanka at Pallekele, perhaps expecting the snow to hamper the team's second bowling. However, they narrowly lost the first T20 chase.
Sri Lanka made no changes to the XI that won by four runs on Saturday. There was some doubt over Angelo Mathews' involvement due to a hamstring strain. But he cleared the fitness test ahead of this match and is clear to play.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan have strengthened their batting, bringing in Hazratullah Zazai into the XI in place of Lexpin-bowling all-rounder Qais Ahmed. Guys were expensive in the last T20I, leaking 36 runs in three overs. Hazratullah is yet to play a match on this tour.
