Kris Jenner slams Kim Kardashian after secretly agreeing to star in Meghan Trainor’s music video: 'Very embarrassing’

Kris Jenner stepped out of her comfort zone a bit on this week’s episode of The Kardashians, starring in a music video for Meghan Trainor.

The 67-year-old Kardashian-Jenner patriarch – who recently returned from Paris Fashion Week – said in the Season 4 premiere that she’d like to 'get off the hamster wheel a little bit and enjoy life’, and she usually says yes. Many things and 'spread thin.’

Despite appearing on Ariana Grande’s Thanksgiving show in 2018, she has generally admitted not wanting a music video.

She admitted that she didn’t even tell her kids about it during filming, and she was afraid her kids wouldn’t like it.

Even Kim Kardashian admitted she thought it would be 'very embarrassing’, although she was proud of her momager in the end.

During dinner, Chris told Corey, 'Meghan Trainor wrote a new song called I’m Your Mama, and she asked me if I’d be in Shelly’s music video.’

Corey says, 'Oh that’s great. Don’t wear revealing clothes, that’s my only thing. I don’t know what’s going on with these videos these days.’

’Normally I think I’d pass, but something tells me it’s going to be a lot of fun,’ says Chris, 'and if it makes you happy, do it,’ adds Corey.

’This is the year I only say yes to things I really want to do. I think I’ll tell Shelly.

Back in Los Angeles, Kris is on the set of Meghan Trainor’s music video, Kris is wearing an elaborate white dress with a diamond necklace and earrings.

’I said yes because it was fun, glamorous and Hollywood. „I hope I can live up to Meghan’s expectations of what we’re doing here today because I don’t want to let her down, but it’s really been a lot of work,” Kris says in the confessional.

Kris shoots a video, ostensibly for her social media, with Meghan Trainor, before they begin production on the video.

’It was an amazing experience,’ admits Chris, who was mentored by director and choreographer Charm La’Donna. This is the music business. It’s exciting. It’s attractive. It’s beautiful. But it is difficult. It’s not as easy as it looks.

As the director jumped up and down in glee, Kris took another take and nailed it.

’I’m afraid that if I tell my kids, they’ll ask me, “Why do you want to be in a music video, mom? Why would you do that?”

Chris confesses, 'I want to share this great experience with them, and when it’s all said and done, I think I’ll send them the tape,’ as they show footage from the finished video.

After Cissy admits she told Kim about the music video shoot, Kris calls Kris from the video set,’ as Kim says, 'Oh my gosh.’

Kim admits in the confessional, 'So at first I was like, „Oh my god this is going to be so embarrassing.” I was afraid she didn’t know what she was doing, but she killed it. You know, in life you’re supposed to have fun and try new things, why not.’

They cut to the set where Chris gets hugs from Meghan and the director and thanks everyone.

After finishing, a producer asks Kris how it was, and Kris says, 'It was a lot of fun. It was great to be a part of such a professional, amazing production. Being my age and doing music videos is a bit unusual, but I’m so glad I did because I had time in my life.
