The squad for the Sydney derby is in with several changes due to international call-ups and suspensions.
First, Robbie Mack will serve his one-week suspension for serious unsportsmanlike conduct after his red card against Newcastle Jets last weekend.
Also, Jake Kirtwood-Reach was suspended for his one game against Perth Glory on Wednesday night for a red card, although he is unavailable as he joins Jordan Courtney-Perkins at the Allyroos. The Olyroos are geared up for the AFC U23 Asian Cup which starts next week and they are prepared to miss at least two matches for the Sky Blues.
Pat Wood, Joe Lacy and Gus Hofslud are still sidelined, although it is positive to have Pat and Joe training on grass again and Gus off his crutches.
They are replaced by Aaron Kurt after minutes from a broken leg earlier this season, Mathieu Scarcella, Jacques de Jesus and academy prospect Lachie Middleton. Middleton has impressed in the NPL and the midfielder was recently with the U19 side who played in the Champions Trophy in Germany.
