Pasadena Tournament of Roses Society
Ring in 2024 with the New Year's Day tradition of the Rose Parade from Pasadena, California. The Tournament of Roses is scheduled for Monday, January 1st at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET.
The theme of this year's parade is „Celebrating the World of Music: A Universal Language.”
„The 2024 theme unites us through music. In a world full of different cultures, beliefs, hopes and dreams, one language unites us all – music,” said Alex Agajanian, President of the 2024 Tournament of Roses. „Sound, texture, rhythm, form, harmony and expression combine to move, energize, excite and delight the world.”
Agajanian continued, “From bossa nova to blues, classical to country, metal to mariachi and rock to rap, thousands of genres invite us to become one in celebrating the world of music. Whether near or far, young or old, we invite you to the year-round festivities that culminate in the Rose Parade on New Year's Day. Let the music begin!”
ABC, KTLA 5, NBC, RFD TV, Great American Family, Cowboy Channel, Cowgirl Channel and Univision will carry the parade nationally.
Streaming partners for Tournament of Roses include Fubo, Local Now, OTT Studio, Pluto TV, Sport TV and The Creo.
Audra MacDonald has been named the 2024 Grand Marshal by the Pasadena Pageant of Roses.
