Presenters compete for the 2024 SOPA Award in the Excellence in Interpretive Reporting: Regional category. The three nominees are:
Established in 1999, the SOPA Awards recognize editorial excellence in both new media and traditional journalism in the Asia-Pacific region. HKFP won three prizes in previous years.
With more than 700 entries received, the winners of the SOPA 2024 Awards will be announced at an event on June 20.
On Thursday, the HKFP was selected for the International Press Institute’s 2024 Free Media Pioneer Award.
