Google Doodle on Sunday commemorated the birthday of Brazilian rock singer and musician Cassia Eller, renowned for her significant contributions to rock and musica popular Brasileira (MPB).
According to the description, Eller, an openly bisexual artist, is celebrated as an authentic and inspiring figure in the LGBTQ+ community.
The doodle, created by guest artist Amanda Lobos from Vila Velha, pays tribute to her heritage.

From an early age, Cássia Eller showed a strong passion for music, picking up the guitar at the age of 14. His musical journey gained momentum in 1989 when his uncle arranged a meeting with a record label.
Early on, Eller mainly performed covers of Casusa, Renato Russo, Janis Joplin, The Beatles, and other artists. His unique raspy voice, emotional acting and captivating stage presence soon endeared him to audiences, catapulting him to widespread recognition and making him a household name.
The pivotal moment in Cássia Eller’s career was the release of her eponymous album in 1990, which featured popular songs such as „Malandragem” and „O Segundo Sol”.
