Galloway, NJ, May 29, 2024 – A member of the World Golf Hall of Fame and a multiple major champion Gary Webb He will return to LPGA Tour competition at the 2024 Shoprite LPGA Classic presented by Acer, which takes place June 7-9 at the Dolce Hotel Seaview in Galloway.

Webb, a seven-time major champion from Australia who won the 2013 Shoprite LPGA Classic, will last compete on the LPGA Tour in 2022 at the Shoprite LPGA Classic.

Webb will join an international field of 144 players. This includes defending champion Ashley Buhai, former world No. 1s Jin Young Ko, Stacey Lewis and Athaya Didikul, and past champions Brooke Henderson (2022), Annie Park (2018), Kyung Gil Kim (2017), Anna Nordqvist (2015, 2016), Stacy Lewis (2012, 2014), Brittany Lincicome (2011) and Angela Stanford (2003).

Previously announced sponsor exemptions competing in the Shoprite LPGA Classic include four-time Junior All-American Gianna Clemente and NCAA All-Americans Rachel Kuehn and Maisie Filler.

The Shoprite LPGA Classic has been a launching pad for many of the game’s top players to kickstart their LPGA Tour careers, including Paula Creamer, Brooke Henderson and Lexi Thompson. The tournament has also featured many great players as past champions, including Betsy King, Dottie Pepper, Cheri Bach, Annika Sorenstam, Nancy Lopez, Christy Kerr and Gary Webb.
