To celebrate the life of Matthew Perry, who died Saturday at age 54, TBS will host a week-long “Friends” marathon dedicated to Perry’s beloved Chandler Bing. The marathon will include special tributes to Perry and Sandler — who ranked as the best „Friends” character and the second funniest character — to show what they mean to fans of the show.
A „Best of Chandler” marathon will begin Nov. 1, highlighting the most hilarious and heartwarming episodes of Chandler. The marathon will continue on November 2 with episodes focusing on Sandler and Joey’s friendship, followed by spotlight episodes on November 3 featuring Monica and Sandler’s relationship. The number of marathons will continue through the weekend until November 5.
Other channels and streaming services where „Friends” can be seen have also honored Perry. Max added a tribute card that appears at the beginning of each season, and Nick At Night aired “Matthew Perry: Thanks for Being a Friend” on October 29.
