Dolly Parton has released „World on Fire,” the lead single from her upcoming debut rock album, „Rockstar.”
The award-winning artist dropped the track on Thursday, hours before releasing the song’s world premiere at the ACM Awards on Thursday evening. Barton will host the award show alongside fellow country winner Garth Brooks.

Parton shared in a statement that she was „very inspired” while writing the track.
„I think it speaks to everything, this day and time,” he said. „I believe it’s something that touches you and touches people who want to make a better change.”

Parton’s 30-track rock album, out November 17, will feature nine original songs and 21 iconic rock covers. It features collaborations with a star-studded roster that includes Miley Cyrus, Chris Stapleton, Sting, Elton John and more.
