’AGD’: Simon Cowell calls musician like Carrie Underwood a 'superstar’

Dog-owning duo Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, who charmed viewers with their adorable physical comedy, were crowned the winners of the NBC talent competition on Wednesday night’s Season 18 finale.
Stoika and her furry companion went head-to-head with magician Anna Dekuzman, and host Terry Crews revealed the pair had won. A $1 million prize and headline act in Las Vegas.
Heading into the finale, Stoica and Hurricane fired off „AGD” success with a sweet date-night routine that saw Hurricane serve as wing-paint while Stoica prepared for a whimsical romance with judge Sofia Vergara.
„It was like the dog was acting and acting,” Judge Simon Cowell said on Tuesday. „We saw 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua’ last night and Hurricane is better than any of the dogs in that movie. So, she should be in a movie or a musical because she’s a star.”

Lavender Tarangelo sings her heart out to 'legendary’ Diane Warren

„I’m losing my eyelashes because the tears are coming out of my eyes,” Klum said of her makeup. „It was wonderful what you did, especially with the legendary Diane Warren.”

Mumble and Anna Teguzman don’t need magic to make their showbiz dreams come true.
A French dance troupe and magician performed alongside pop star Jason Derulo He delivered a vibrant medley of his songs „Hands on Me” and „Take You Dancing” on the „AGD” stage.
Teguzman introduced Derulo’s performance with his signature card mantra, while the grunts complemented Derulo’s dance moves with their sharp hand dance.
The grunt pairing with Derulo made perfect sense for judging Howie Mandel, who chose the dance group as his Golden Buzzer act.
„I think they’re superstars. I think Jason is a superstar,” Mandel said. „They’ve been invited to perform at the same level as this superstar. I’m excited.”
Former 'AGD’ judge Mel B replaces Sofia Vergara in spinoff 'AGD: Fantasy League’’
Vergara takes Raincheck in the next „AGD” adventure.
Vergara will not be joining her fellow judges in the franchise’s upcoming spinoff „AGD: Fantasy League.” She was replaced by Spice Girls singer Mel B. (The singer-songwriter previously worked as a judge on a reality talent competition series. From 2013-2018.)
„I had other jobs,” Vergara joked of her absence. „But I’m going to leave you in good hands. I’ve found the perfect replacement.”
On „AGT: Fantasy League,” set to premiere in January 2024, the judges will each compile a fantasy list of fan-favorite acts from „AGT” and „Got Talent” franchises from around the world. Judges compete among themselves to mentor and guide their contestants to victory.
„I always wanted to beat Heidi and Mel, not physically, but competitively,” Mandel joked, to which Klum replied, „I’ll win at anything. I’m very competitive.”
