KERRVILLE, Texas – newbie Thomas Danielson He shot a 3-over 75 in the final round and finished in a tie for 15th to lead the Nicholls State University men's golf team to the Southland Conference Championship at Comanche Trace on Wednesday.
Danielson shot a three-round 222 and added three more birdies on Wednesday. His scores were consistent throughout the championship as he returned with rounds of 74, 73 and 75.
Jack Morrow He equaled his first round score of 78 to score 232. Zachary Morvant 79 card on Wednesday. Morrow and Morvant each had two birdies in the final 18 holes. Rounding out they lined up Chase Pochylko And Diego Brad Cruza with 82s.
As a team, Nicholls is tied for ninth after scoring 314 runs. The Colonels finished one stroke ahead of Texas A&M-Commerce.
Augusta was again champion with an 855, 18 strokes ahead of second-place Lamar. Cole Stevens (-6, 210) and Stephen Jacobs (-5, 211) represented Augusta on the leaderboard as they finished first and second.
