In an effort to promote the modernization of telecommunications services in the state of Julia, Compañía Anónima Nacional Telefonos de Venezuela (CANTV) offered a training workshop on advanced GPON technology in the municipality of Simon Bolivar.
Targeted at the spokesmen of the Telecommunications Technology Board (MTT) of Ciudad Bolívar-Apartamentos, this action aims to acquire organized Popular Power knowledge and technical tools in modernizing telecommunications services.
During the workshop, Cantv public employees shared detailed information on the planning and deployment of GPON technology, highlighting its many benefits.
Also, with the support of Popular Power, they initiated a survey of the need to modernize telecommunication services in urban planning.
As a parallel activity, a joint study was carried out with Infocentro staff of the intended locations for the company's future headquarters.
The deployment is in response to assurances given by Cantv's chairman, MG. Jesus Aldana recently visited the area to reaffirm the company's support for the community.
Through these actions, Cantv reiterates its commitment to digital transformation and access to state-of-the-art telecommunications services for all Venezuelans.
