To address this urgent need and better prepare Indonesia for future healthcare challenges, we must invest extensively in our healthcare capacity to ensure access to life-saving technologies for all patients.

Indeed, the need for greater health resilience has been emphasized by world leaders, including Indonesia, since the pandemic hit in early 2020. The urgency to build resilience to health while enduring the devastation of the pandemic is clear, but are we there yet?

Can we now provide improved access to innovative medicine for all who need it? Are we devoting more resources to increasing health capacity and critical research and development (R&D) and manufacturing in Indonesia?
