Niraj Parihar became CEO, Insights & Data (I&D) Global Business Line at Capgemini on January 1.St2023, at which time he also joined the Group Management Committee.
He is responsible for a global team of 23,000+ professionals, driving the development of cloud data & AI platforms, AI & data engineering, data strategy, analytics and data science, and intelligent process automation to transform Capgemini’s portfolio and enable digital transformation for clients with data. Support Intelligence.
Prior to this, Niraj was the Managing Director of Insights & Data Global Business Line in India. Throughout his 12+ year tenure at Capgemini, he has held several leadership positions including Head of Global Delivery for Insurance, Head of Hyderabad Center and has led many complex projects for clients. As part of the India Country Board Member, Niraj is a business sponsor of Diversity and Inclusion, Head of VeCare NGO, Capgemini, and is known for key employee engagement and new generation talent transfer initiatives.
Prior to joining Capgemini, Niraj was the National Sales Director at Lionbridge Technologies, where he was responsible for working with teams in the US and managing the sales portfolio for the global development and testing business. He has worked with Larsen & Dubro Infotech Ltd. for 11 years in various leadership positions, supporting large global outsourcing initiatives in the areas of SAP, testing, enterprise content management, application re-engineering and KPO.
Niraj has over 27 years of experience in the IT services and consulting industry and has spent 14 and 13 years in the US and India respectively.
Niraj holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from JNV University, India. While at Capgemini he earned his Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) credentials from CIMA.
