Pep Guardiola speaks to the media after City's defeat: „Sometimes you can win penalties, sometimes you can't. But in the game we really defended and didn't convert the chances we had. Everyone played at a high level. We said we have to be at our best to play Real Madrid.

„Football is about scoring goals and they did a bit better than us from the penalty spot. They're in the semi-finals, we're not. Small margins. It's as it is. Sometimes you win penalties, sometimes you don't.
