Madonna shared a photo with her 92-year-old father Silvio at the Detroit show

(CNN) – Madonna marks a notable stop on her „Celebration” world tour, which was attended by a beloved family member.

The „Vogue” superstar shared a photo on her verified Instagram Stories on Wednesday, showing her with her father Silvio Ciccone at her latest show in Detroit.

Madonna, a Bay City native, is pictured with her arms around her 92-year-old father. She captioned the photo „I love you dad” and added three blue hearts.

Her performance in Detroit on Monday night was a special one, as she noted during some of her speaking moments amid scenes from the show.

According to The Detroit News, Bob Ikon said he believes Detroit is „proud” of him, „because I care what you think, and I want you to be proud of me.”

Later, he noted that „people don't understand how cool you have to be from Detroit,” and thanked his hometown for „pushing me in the right direction” on his journey to becoming a superstar.

Madonna called her dad, „He taught me the meaning of hard work. He taught me the importance of earning your way in life. He taught me that life is not a day at the beach, you have to be better prepared. Work hard to get somewhere in life, and I'm thankful for that.” Dad.”
