scout team Fantasy Premier League Experts give their thoughts on who should captain Gameweek 19 ahead of the deadline Tuesday 26 December at 11:00 GMT.
What the experts say
Lee Banfield (@FPLFamily)
Some good options this week, but I'll play „safe”. Mohammed Salah At Burnley (£13.3m). I can't ignore it Dominique Solange's (£6.9m) form, and a plum home fixture against Fulham, on the back of his impressive performance and hat-trick against Nottingham Forest, I wouldn't want to ignore.
Udkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL)
Salah Will be my captain against Burnley. I'm still unsure about Erling Holland's (£13.9m) fitness. He could be on the bench if fit.
Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)
Bugayo Saka (£9.0m) currently has an armband but Calum Wilson (£7.9m) prompts against Nott'm Forest. A late switch to such a distinction can reap big rewards.
Gianni Puttis (@GianniButtice)
I will consider both Salah And Off My gameweek 19 as captain. Normally I prefer to back the player with a home fixture, but Salah's competition at Burnley may be too hard to ignore.
Sam Banfield (@FPLFamily)
With Ollie Watkins (£8.8m) captain vacant in Gameweek 18, I'll play it safe in Gameweek 19. Salah is the obvious choice. However, Son Heung-min (£9.8m) would be a fun option at Brighton & Hove Albion, who haven't been clean all season.
