Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns
The superstar guard led Phoenix to a perfect 4-0 record in Week 5 with 30.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists. Booker’s week was highlighted by an in-season tournament win at Memphis, where he scored 40 points on 15-of-21 shooting (71.4%). The Suns have won seven straight since Booker returned from injury.
It was Booker’s eighth player of the week, the most in franchise history.

Paulo Banchero, Orlando Magic
Kia Rookie of the Year led Orlando to a perfect 4-0 record in Week 5 with 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists. His week was highlighted by an in-season tournament win over the East-leading Celtics, where he scored 23 points on 10-of-16 shooting (62.5%). The Magic are currently riding a seven-game winning streak, which is tied for the longest active win streak in the NBA.
It was Banchero’s first and 13th player to be named the NBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the Year.
