„Virat Kohli is a very mean man. He is very rich but he travels in economy class,” a social media user posted on X on Monday.
Another user said, „#Wonderful to see Virat Kohli traveling in economy class. Nice to see someone, even a famous and rich player. Always a great quality.”
Referring to Virat Kohli, another X user said, „A guy with a net worth of over 1,000 crores traveling in economy class, what a down-to-earth person Virat Kohli is.”

Many have praised Virat Kohli for his humility, „Kohli’s humility on the field has caught the attention of the public off the field as well. The 35-year-old cricketer chose economy class while flying to Bangalore after the match against India. South Africa match, boarding an IndiGo flight.”
Some noted how Kohli wore the „same shirt (which he wore many times)”.
Netizens were in awe after Virat Kohli equaled cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries with his 101 not out against South Africa on his 35th birthday in the World Cup on Sunday.
The century further strengthened Kohli’s case as one of the greatest players of the modern era. In eight ICC CWC matches, Virat has scored 543 runs in 108 overs, with two centuries and four fifties. His best score was 103*.
