Camela Leierth-Segura was last seen in Beverly Hills, California on June 29, but friends say they haven’t heard from the singer, songwriter and model since 19-year-old Cat Morris went missing.

Fears are growing for the safety of the singer, songwriter and model who co-wrote Katy Perry’s hit Walking on Air, who went missing in Beverly Hills.

Camella Leith-Segura, 48, was last seen on Thursday, June 29. California The Department of Justice’s Missing Persons Page.

He was reported missing to authorities earlier this month after friends and family were unable to contact him for a month. According to The Los Angeles Times.

Her 2010 silver Ford Fusion car was reportedly captured on CCTV the night after she was last seen, but she has not been seen since.

It is also known that she was evicted from her apartment shortly before she went missing. Her 19-year-old cat, Morris, is also missing.

Friends of the Swedish-born musician now say they fear he may have been kidnapped.

Her friend, fellow model Cecilia Fosse, said The Independent Leairth-Segura found the lack of contact out of character, adding: „My worst fear is that someone has her and is hurting her.”

Ms Foss also told ABC7 Eyewitness News she feared the worst: „I’d like to think nothing bad has happened, but do I think something bad has happened? Yes”.

Speaking at the same outlet, neighbors said they had not seen the musician for weeks, noting that the plants that had grown well on his balcony had now died.

’very concerned’

Another friend, Liz Montgomery – who filed a missing person’s report for Leith-Segura in the first week of August – asked for help on social media, posting on Instagram: „This is a personal friend of mine. A great friend. People are listening. So, yes! Please share – help. Needed! Missing my dear friend of over 25 years. Last seen June 29,2023 in Beverly Hills,” she wrote.

„We are very concerned for her safety and despite our best efforts, the local authorities have not been able to locate her. If you have any information, even the smallest detail that could help, please get in touch immediately”.

’Timing is of the essence’

A GoFundMe page set up by Leierth-Sekura’s sister in Sweden says: „We are very concerned for her safety and despite our efforts, the local police have not been able to locate her.

„If you have any information, even the smallest detail would help, please get in touch immediately”.

The fundraising page continues: „She means the world to us and time is of the essence! Her family and loved ones in Sweden are begging for your help!

„Please spread the word – share this fundraiser and help us bring Camilla home safely”.

About 30,000 krona (about £2,145) has been raised so far, which the family says will cover costs, including a reward and the costs of private detectives.

In addition to co-writing Walking on Air, Leith-Sekura recorded a cover of Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra’s Some Velvet Morning with the Swedish death metal band Entombed, and released songs on YouTube and Spotify under her stage name Camala Leith.
