Zoë Kravitz thanks Channing Tatum at the 'Blink Twice’ premiere

In his directorial debut Blink twice On Thursday, Zoë Kravitz took a moment to give a special thank you to the film’s star and her fiance, Channing Tatum.

„I’m just going to take a second to talk about Channing fucking Tatum,” Kravitz told the crowd before reading a note while thanking the cast and crew who worked on the project ahead of the screening at Los Angeles’ TGA Theater. She had written in her notebook.

„From holding my head or feet to pep talks while I’m crying on the bathroom floor, I thought I had it all figured out. Thank you for letting me be a complete ODC psycho control freak. Thank you for your patience,” she said. „Making this film with you is a huge accomplishment. Thank you for trusting me to guide you. It’s cool to make a movie, but it’s even cooler when you do it with the love of your life. The couple, who got engaged last year, made their red carpet debut.

Kravitz directed and co-wrote the film, a psychological thriller starring Tatum as Slater King, a tech billionaire who meets cocktail waitress Frida (Naomi Aki) at his fundraiser. He invites her and his friends to go on vacation to his private island, where things start to go badly.

Admitting that public speaking is her biggest fear, Kravitz also used her opening night speech to thank the film crew for “taking the time it took to make this movie the way we dreamed it would be. You all worked more than you were paid. You have all lost sleep and sanity over this plan. You all have had several strange fever-dream text messages from me at strange hours of the night. But when I said, 'We’re not there yet,’ none of you rolled your eyes and called me a bitch. You all said, 'Yeah, let’s keep going, let’s get there,’ and we did.
