This year’s edition is shaping up to be our biggest yet ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in July.
The aim of Women’s Football Week is to promote the participation of women at all levels of the game.
„Girls Football Week provides a great opportunity to raise awareness for our local clubs and participation pathways by drawing attention to our sport thanks to the World Cup,” commented Football NSW Schools, Girls and Women’s Co-ordinator Kristen Prior.
“Football NSW hosts many free events at Valentine Sports Park, but many events are held locally across the state to thank clubs and associations.
