Josh Antman, host of the Sky Sports Golf Podcast

I love that the Solheim Cup exudes emotion, animation and fist pumping that you don’t see in a normal 72-hole stroke play tournament. With the added storyline of Europe trying to make history, three in a row, and it’s on home soil, this could be a classic.

Score Prediction: Team Europe 16-12 Team America

Player to watch: Lynn Grant The last two years have been incredible. Last year’s Rookie of the Year won his first LPGA Tour event of the season and advanced to the semifinals at the Bank of Hope Match Play. The other four Swedes will help her and I think she will show why she is a Solheim champion.

Sky Sports reporter Jamie Weir catches up with good friends Lynn Grant and Maja Stark who are part of the Europe squad for this year’s Solheim Cup.

Richard Kaufman, Sky Sports commentator

I agree with Suzanne Peterson that Europe is the favorite. A team with deep strength at home has been playing at pace for the last four years. But I’m not as sure as I was back in January that that cry of „ole ole ole” would be heard on Sunday evening.

Score Prediction: Team Europe 15-13 Team America

Player to watch: There is every possibility Lynn Grant Never watched the Solheim Cup on TV. She likes to ride horses, but who cares. It’s a newcomer in name only and a player who exudes quiet authority backed by one of the world’s best sports.

Team Europe captain Suzanne Peterson inspired a Tina Turner singalong as her players showed off some dance moves ahead of the Solheim Cup.

Jamie Weir, Sky Sports news anchor

There’s no such thing as team golf, especially when it’s Europe against the US. It’s Solheim Cup or Ryder Cup! Everything is set perfectly for a wonderful fortnight.
