Playboy Cardi's New Year's resolutions seem to be paying off big in 2024. The 27-year-old rapper released a new song Monday night called BACKR00MS featuring Travis Scott. The two hip-hop artists took to their social media handles on January 1 to announce their latest single. Their post included a short video of British rapper Blakhayn, “New music, Cardi, Travis Scott, dropping. [expletive] Today.”
BACKR00MS is a single from Cardi's upcoming third studio album, which is expected to be released this year. Scott and Carty previously collaborated on the former rapper's track titled Fe!n from the Utopia album. In December of last year, the Atlanta-based rapper teased his upcoming album by releasing several new songs.
On December 8, Cardi released a surprise track, Different Day, and a week later, dropped another track, 2024, produced by Kanye West. Prior to the release of BACKR00MS, Cardi released H00dByAir.

Fans are excited by Karthi's latest songs
Shortly after Cardi dropped her latest song, fans flooded social media to express their excitement. A fan posted on Cardi's official YouTube channel, “54 years old. Retired Veterinarian. Trucker. Me and a nice bottle of whiskey on cold nights on the highway listening to Cardi. God bless you.”
Another fan said, „Karthi and Travis are a matchless couple.” And one fan wrote on X, previously Twitter, „His best verse yet lol relisten.” Another said, „I still remember it falling 5 minutes ago, probably the best moment of my life.”
